4.  Julia and her father rode a tandem bicycle in a trail. In the first half of the distance, she pedaled, her dad rest, and the tandem bicycle traveled at 8 MPH. In the second half of the distance, she rest, her dad pedaled, and the tandem bicycle traveled at 12 MPH. How much was the average speed (in MPH) for the entire distance?
