1.  The drawings are hanged in a string for an art exhibition. Each drawing needs to be clipped at two sides. A clip can be shared by the two adjacent drawings as shown in the figure below.

At most how many drawings can be clipped to the string with 19 clips?
2.  There are 8 drawings to be exhibited in a long showcase. Each drawing needs to be fixed with pins in the four corners. A pin can be shared by the two adjacent drawings as shown in the figure below.
