Figure Analysis

This section assesses students' visualization analysis and reasoning capability. It is a unique part that has no similarity with any of the verbal section tests.

    Below are the tips in answering the questions:
  • The number of punched holes in the unfolded figure doubles for every step of folding. If there are two steps of folding and 3 holes punched in the final folded figure, then the unfolded figure should have 3 × 2 × 2 = 12 holes;
  • The unfolded figure should be symmetric for each folded line.
    Below are some of the examples
  • One step of folding with one punched hole:
    1.  A piece of paper is folded and then has had holes punched through it or has been cut with a pair of scissors. Find out which answer choice is how the paper will look when it is completely unfolded.
